Who do you like better? I like them both but I would take John over Jim.

they were both the best at what they did. john represented the more concious side of music in the late 60's and 70's. While morrison represented more of the free love/anarchy side of that era. so both did were amazing in their own right . but musically speaking john had more to say and more meaning in his lyrics. morrison was all flash and didnt really care whether his fans got his poems. but john made more of a impact on music and was more accessible to his fans. he didnt get lost in the excess of fame like morrison.

Both did lots for music, both were very talented.
But I agree, I'd go with John.
Jim probably looked up to John when he was coming up in the business.

yeah i like them both too. i mean there are those who prefer the beatles and those who prefer the doors. the beatles were more gay and joyful, the doors were more strange and depressing. personally i'm more a jim morrison fan.
