so, im hosting a fashion bash. basically, i have a fashion show and then a dance/party afterwards.
for the fashion show, i dont know what music to use. like should i use a specific song or just music [w/o lyrics]?
if i use a song, is it a good idea to use "this is why im hot" when models are walking down the runway?
and if i pick pure music w/o words, idk what to choose thats hip for a fashion show when models are walking down the runway [prefer it has few french words]?
please tell me some hiphop/rap songs that are def a need for 3 hrs of partying.

Can't you just get a DJ? especially for the party but it would make the fashion show really hot, too.
Update: I agree with one of the following posts: delegate, delegate, delegate.
Try to find the person who knows or has access to the most music and ask that person to get a bunch of friends together to mix the music and say you need you know 3 hours or whatever. I'm sure they will serve you well. And then check in on them before show time to make sure its going OK.

You are the Host why Are YOU worrying about this? Appoint or hire someone to be the Sound Coordinator, give rhem a brief outline of what you are attempting and make it their task to come up with a miracle. Most sound tech types harbor several warehouses of sounds in their heads - - - consult yes but trust their judgement - - - that said you have to be in sync with who you choose but your focus should be on being a host, sound & music should be a chore for a pro.

obviously im like smitten by music and prefer it each and each and each and each of the time and if the web wasn't delivering and it wasn't suitable to coach the web that way i'd by technique of no ability like it for something

cant give you a whole list but you might be intrested in looking into GOLDFRAPP! shes a amazing singer with a kinda dance/techno style. she might be a start.
