About that 101 year old woman that was mugged and robbed?

Is that about the lowest form of cowardness you've ever seen?
The question really is: how can any human be so unfeeling, so uncaring about another human that he would beat and rob a woman who needs a walker in order to get to her church?
For $33.
And then proceeds to attack another 85 year old woman.
Are you as DISGUSTED about this as I am?

I agree with your point about the dollar amount.
I mentioned it only because it was part of the news and certainly is not a factor in determining the severity or level of this vicious attack.

Yes this is VERY disgusting and disturbing. However I would like to add my two cents, not to take anything away from the victims. I do not understand why people say "these days..." Or the even more nauseating "nowadays." News flash its called increase in population, information age, and prophecy.

As if crime where just discovered the moment you turned on the evening news, or read it on cnn.com.

Crime and murder have been committed since the beginning of time. Since the days of Adam and Eve, when Cain killed Abel. I will educate you on this...crime is not new. Crime is never leaving, and peace will never come. I hate to sound cynical but that's just the way it is.

Here in America, this country was not built on "Peace." So its no surprise to me that there's a lot of violence. This land was built on colonization, and slavery. It was built on the whole "Dog eat dog" way of thinking. Hundreds of thousands of Native people were murdered here for defending themselves. The same for blacks.

Even in the holocaust which wasn't too long ago. Millions of Jews (including women, children, and elders) were murdered in a so called "civilized society."

So where, and when where these "Good Ole Days.?"

They never existed for many people so please for the love of God stop using such a dumb a/s/s cliche saying.

I believe the world will end soon. Get your head out of the clouds and repent to something. There is only worst to come, and that's because of greed, and an increase in the worlds population.

By the way yes I have heard of things more horrendous than those stories mentioned. One more thing had it been $500.00 would that have made it okay. Since you mentioned the $$$ amount and all. Just wondering.

What has the world come too? Probably out of their minds on drugs and needed a fix. Drugs make you not have a conscience. Who ever did it should hang in a public square so others would know the consequences of such a horrendous act.

I don't mean to be contradictary or anything because I know that it is disgusting, but in general thieves ARE unfeeling and uncaring about other humans. They take hard-earned money from families with complete disregard to who the hell they might be (unless they've got big bucks; then they might be interested).
To be honest, this type of behaviour is expected of low-lives such as them.

Yes, I think it was terrible. That is our society today. No body cares about anything or anyone. That is why my child and I have a pit bull living with us. I dare someone to try and break in this house. Max is always on his job. I very seldom even go out at night anymore. It is too scary out there.

It is very very sad to see something like that happen. He could have robbed them without the beating. We owe what we have to our seniors. They are windows to our past. They deserve respect.

The attacker had to be very deranged in the head to do what he did. He will eventually be caught and will get pay back in jail. You know, the kind of pay back where you have to watch your behind. Behind in a context of politeness if you know what I mean....
