Okay, I know that during after daylight savings time arrives the sun is out longer, normally it would be gone by 5:00 or so, now it does'nt go down until about 8:30. So, we set our clocks forward an hour, how does an hour forward give us 3 or 4 more hours of sunlight? And, how does congress control that? I'm NOT fully understanding the law passing and all of that stuff.
Please help.
Thanks

Daylight savings gives us the same amount of sunlight - but by changing the clocks we now have the sunlight hours later in the day.

The extra daylight hour in the evening means we use our lights less and save energy. More people are awake in the evening hours so more energy is saved.

The point of daylight saving time is to cut one hour off the useless early morning sunlight and make an extra hour in the evening. There's no difference in the actual amount of sunlight, except for the gradual change that takes place as the time approaches June 21 (Summer Solstice). After that, we start to get less sunlight. DST doesn't give 3 or 4 more hours of useful sunlight, just one.

After the 1 hour forward at 02.00 hrs Sunday, the Sunday will be 1 hour shorter.
Monday will be back to normal 24 hr day except that the sun will rise and set 1 hour later.

I believe Mr Bush made a decree that the Daylight Saving will be earlier than normal this year.

You did no longer let us know what form of digicam you have, so right this is assuming you have a digital SLR. Set the aperture as small as you may, and use a variety of of independent Density filters on your lens. The ND clear out cuts all easy the two by way of a undeniable ingredient. In large daylight hours you would be able to could desire to stack greater effective than one 3 quit ND clear out. in case you have a DSLR, you may manually modify the ISO placing. make useful that's as low because it could bypass. some Canons require you to set a particular function to get entry to ISO 50, yet maximum Canons in basic terms enable you bypass to ISO one hundred. i'm undecided a thank you to do the comparable ingredient with a Nikon, i attempted to help a buddy set theirs and Nikon stored overriding the ISO I set. there is in all probability a particular function. in case you by way of a few risk have a action picture SLR (yeah!) you ought to use Efke 25 action picture, Adox CMS 20, or Rollei Pan 25 videos. those are all ISO 25 videos, which quite help sluggish issues down so so you might use long exposures. of direction, with long exposures you will could desire to easily remember to make amends for reciprocity failure. The Rollei and Adox could desire to be nice, yet Efke will choose an aditional quit at 15 seconds.
