Geo was actually a joint venture between Chevrolet and Suzuki, Toyota, and Isuzu, which explains the great reliability. Did you think Chevy was cranking out reliable cars at that time? Me neither
Geo Tracker=Suzuki Sidekick
Geo Storm= Isuzu Implulse
Geo Metro = Suzuki Swift
Geo Prizm= Toyota Corolla

Depends on what model you get. Apparently the Geo storm's aren't to good. However, Geo Prizms are great cars. I had a '95 Geo Prizm, one of the best cars I ever had. Geo Metros are okay, and you really shouldn't get a tracker because of the high center of gravity which causes you to roll over easy, so if your going with a Geo, get a Prizm.

Not really. ALL Geos are made by other companies for GM, and most are made very cheaply. YOu are better off with a used Honda, Mazda, or Toyota than a Geo.

They get good gas mileage but are significantly under powered and struggle climbing hills (think semi trucks and VW's passing you). They are small which makes them not so safe in collisions and dont hold their value. Early American made 4cyl motors were nothing comapred to the Japanese motors of that time. I would say not a very good car.

Geos are not cars, they are wind-up toys.

Uhh, never get one. They are a total social laugh. In other words people will laugh at you if you get one. They aren't bad cars in particular but, for the money, there are better cars out there, both socially and mechanically.
