I'm writing a paper about death for my writing class and I don't know where to start. I thought by looking at people's opinion about this question could be helpful for my essay. =)

Depends... if I died today out of the blue and people I never thought cared about me came to my funeral and I could see that I made a difference in the world, I could probably be peaceful. But if my death was in vain I'd feel terrible. I'm also one the only people in this world who doesn't not worry about death. You (like most people) are probably hoping you never die. But I am OK with it. I believe that you only live so you can die and all you are responsible for in this world is to show love, and teach the world about it. This world is complete crap and I feel like by telling you this I would be able to die and go to heaven and be OK with it. And hopefully when I do go, people can can look back at my life and learn something. I know that there is something after this, and I'm sure I'll be OK just seeing all the people I love.

The Bible is full of passages that easily describe the afterlife as God promised. Death is the separation of the body and spirit. There is life after physical death. However, there is a lucky generation of people who will NOT experience physical death. That is, the people who will be alive when Jesus comes again.

2. dying in a complicated dream that seems sometimes like I'm still alive and eventually finding a world where everyone has disappeared
3. waiting with Satan to be acknowledged by all the selfish who moved on
4. Queen of Hades
5. there is no after life-everything is eternal h**l for people who think or care too much

Well, every religion has different views on the after-life. The two main ones are:

1. Heaven/Hell - Christianity in general, if you believe in God.

2. Nothing. Evolutionists believe when you die, it's like when you're asleep. You can't think, you wouldn't even know. Mind boggling really.

And then there's the Hindu where they believe in recincarnation.

There are lots of beliefs and the worst part is, no one will know what's true until they die!

I see myself as being re-incarnated and living yet another life. I think the soul does get passed on to future generations, while we today may not remember who was there before....those memories are burried DEEP w/in our sub conscious..

but that could also be the Jack Daniels talking too..

I see myself in another dimension of some sort, waiting on my new life or birth.

What I want to see is my working in Hell--you know, torturing the people who are more evil than myself.

What afterlife? After death, I see myself as worm food.
