Easiest way to make homemade r/c cars?

I want to know what the easiest way to make powerful homemade r/c offroad vehicles with things you have around the house is, and also if anyone else has done this.

I would be grateful of any help!

You are asking how you can make one of the most sophisticated small toys on the market, designed to be abused and stay precise from junk around the house. Not possible. The best you could do would be to buy the transmitter and chassis and then build your own body, which probably would not take the abuse the molded bodies take.
