I would recommend not replacing one string,do the whole set, they blend better. You can get a set of Ernie Ball "super slinky's" for less than 15.00 and if you "bend the strings" when you play that's what you need!

Instead of just buying another string, you might as well buy a whole other set. That way, when another string breaks you'll have a replacement ready. A set of six strings should cost around $15. The guy at the music store should restring it for free and ask him if you can watch so you can do it yourself next time. I've had good luck with the D'addario brand or Ernie Ball.

Most guitar shops should sell single strings.
But a pack of strings can go anywhere from about $5.00 to $25.00 which you'll get all 6 and sometimes an extra high E and B.
Single strings would probably cost about a buck or two.
If of course you do it yourself.
If you have them do it for you they might charge a few bucks more.

I'd say don't bother replacing just one string. If it broke, that means the others are near the end of their lifespans too (unless something wierd happened, which can never be ruled out). If you're prone to breaking strings and don't do a lot of bends, I recommend using a heavier gauge. And, if you don't already know how, it'll save a lot of time and money to learn to replace the strings yourself. It's very easy.

Depends on where you go. Some stores dont mind repairing one string for free. Other places should NOT charge more than 5 bucks for the string itself (unless bass guitar) and restringing it. If they try that, leave. Thats ridiculous.

the string costs like under 3 bucks. If you bring the guitar in the store to they will probably put it on for you as well for free.
