I am wondering what the height is for basketball goals at Junior Highs (7th/8th grades.) I have checked many sites and they all say that it is 10 feet for all, but the ones at elementary schools are much less than anywhere else, and i have my goal set up at 10 feet and it looks higher than the one at my Junior High.

10 foot is the standard goal height in America from elementary school to the NBA.

it has to be 10 ft because if it wasnt the ref wouldnt let the game start. Your goal might look bigger if its outside on top of the curb which would raise it, and sometimes home rims are are bigger
