15 losses- and not necessarily quality losses either. If almost pulling an upset out winning your conference tournament was the way to win an NCAA bid after a horrible regular season- and they were only 15-14 going into the ACC, then the NCAA tournment should be overhauled. No offense, NC State will make the tournament a lot of times under Sidney Lowe.

I'm not sure why but they definitly deserved it! Going to the their conference final with a #10 seed a is very difficult to do. They also beat NC during the regular season! Oh well maybe next year.

The simple fact that they were 10th in their conference makes it very difficult for them to get in. 18-14 is obviously not a great record and whether they beat great teams during the season or not, it doesn't make up for the 8 losses to unseeded teams. There are just too many bubble teams that are better.

They beat UNC and Duke, they should not have been left out. Are you sure? We are Duke people but we think NC State should have got in before Duke.

They had an 18-15 record. Those losses weren't to Duke or Carolina or some other tough team, but to easy teams.

N.C. State's point guard got hurt early in the season and they struggled without him. They just couldn't rack up enough wins to get into the big dance. It is ashame, they were a very talented team this year.
