i baught a pack of "garden salad mini bites at my local pet show and just now began to wonder how safe it really is to allow my hamster to chew away at this stuff...

They are fine, but many hamsters don't like them. You can also try veggie flavored or unflavored dog biscuits for chewing hamsters. Hamsters also love to chew on empty tiolet paper rolls.

I think it should be fine if it's made for hamsters because they use wood that wont splinter the stomach, however if you think its low quality and will splinter i would just toss it.

yes it's safe, but i found out most don't like them. They would Rather have paper of some sort.
