I was sitting in french doing work and the teacher was thowing glue around to people, she was aiming for the person behind me and it smacked me on the head (outch) and than she went alll red and said she "felt bad", she gave me some chocolate and pos-it notes, the class made a joke of it and than we moved on. I was talking to her on msn and she said she was sorry and offered me some glue and more post-it notes (to keep). So i couldn't really ask for more, i took some glue and postit notes and some sweets, theres a big bump on my forhead and it sometimes hurt to toutch. What should i have done?

Why, do you still want to get her in trouble after all of that? She said she was sorry. You excepted her gifts. That's the end of it.

Sue the teacher for negligence, naming the school board as a co-defendant for hiring her in the first place, then sue for free medical care for your injuries, and psychiatric care for your mental suffering. OK, OK, just kidding.

Obviously it was a mistake, and reflects a bit of poor judgment on the part of the teacher. Teachers are only human.

Must have been one heck of a big glue stick. The ones I've used were practically weightless. Or she really whipped that thing.

My advice: Let it go. She apologized and tried to make it right. She feels bad enough, and you got a little sympathy. Time to move on.

Well! you should have been paying attention so you could have ducked and not get hit by the object, anyway she's probably very sorry and maybe she'll give you a better grade at the end of the semester. Oh! yeah, put ice on the bump!

Why does it bother you so much? Do you feel as if she really did it on purpose and she just said it was an accident? Were you really embarassed and now you want to get her in trouble? Do you have an injury that will require a doctor visit? I think there's more behind this question than you let on.

Nothing - your head got in the way, it was an accident and she apologized. Forget it and move on.....
