like the woman who has been cheated on & blames their beloved's new partner, terrorists blame the US for the failings of their governments thus, angily strike out against us, instead of proactively working to alter policies at home.
as though they sincerely believe their countries would be all good, if they weren't simply being misguided. like the wrath of the scorned woman against their rival, their anger is misplaced, illogical & in the end, futile, as it does nothing but exasperate the corruptive nature that has always existed within their governments.
ex, if their complaint is that american (owned) factories are polluting their space, pressure their own government to protect their populations against it. instead, of blaming us, blame those who are in control of their homelands & yet, allow it.
ultimately, their problems lie within their houses yet, they mistakenly & irrationally want to deflect the blame upon us - like the wife who believes her husband is basically good.

the behavior is the same and yes, in both examples, sick and mental - that was my point.
i was saying that irregardless of whether these people have been hurt, their anger when directed toward us is in the end futile when they are simultaneously destroying their own homes.
also, that just like an estranged spouse who uses explosive acts of anger, hatred and hurt in a blind attempt to regain, or retain, control over their household, the results of terrorism do little more than destroy the very house they are desparately trying to defend.
also, that regardless of the injustices involved, the act of terrorism (whether carried out in a hotel parking lot in austin) or, in a market in iraq) can never be tolerated, sympathized with or, legitimized.
and that, yes, when a spurned woman goes after her rival, she is in fact, using that other woman as a scapegoat to the problems that exist within her own home, just like the actions of the terrorists who come after us.

the emotions of self-centeredness, blind rage, selfishness, self-entitlement and all-consuming hatred are the same whether you're dealing with a woman who shoots her sleeping husband in san diego or, a suicide bomber in iran and to me, neither deserves sympathy as their own actions are worse than those inflicted upon them and are equally irrational.
