Area of square pizza > area of round pizza

find the areas

3.14(5)^2
78.5

9x9=81 (i'm guessing that a 9 inch square pizza has 9 inch sides...instead of a 9 inch diagonal)

The square pizza is a better deal because you get more pizza for the same price.

Area of 10 inch (assuming its the diameter) round pizza = pi*5in.^2 = 78.54 sq. in.

Area of a 9 inch (assuming thats a side) square pizza = 9^2 = 81 sq. in.

So it's better to buy the square pizza as you are getting more.

The pizza with the largest area.

For the round pizza the diameter is 10 inches.
r = radius = 10/2 = 5

Area = πr² = 25π ≈ 78.54 sq in.

For the square pizza

Area = 9*9 = 81 sq in.

The square pizza is bigger so it is the better buy.
