And I'm talking about a fifth grade nerdy idiot. I'm trying to put on a production and I need to find my inner nerd. So what's something nerdy to carry around,and also what's something nerdy to wear and do? And don't say something stupid like, " what you're wearing right now dufus!" Something interesting, I might use your ideas cause I really need some...that's if anyone answers

nerds wear huge thick glasses and have these plaid shirts with overalls that dont match
they carry around like calculators, mini dictionaries, or pocket protectors and crap like that
they talk like theyre all superior and have this really cheesy voice like e=mc squared

Big ugly glasses, textbook or big impressive looking book, pocket protector, anything related to Star Trek/NASA, clothes with foods stains on them, or ill fitting dress clothes, acne (you can draw them with the a makeup pencil)...
That's all I can think of. I'd say techonology, but that's actually "cool" now with cell phones and blackberries.

4) ipod or any other mp3 player - seriously, they try to fit in using these
5) A binder with more than 3 compartments

Check you pockets or pocketbook, I'm sure you'll find something. NERDS are not a class of people, so you have to decide on your own what they would carry.

a 12 sided die, or if you can find a die with even more sides (I think they go as high as 100 sides on one die)

books that above the reading level of most kids that are their age
any thing that would more then likely get him picked on by other 5th graders
