Arenas can never be like Wade or Dirk, how sad.

yeah hes a fantastic player, but not all fantastic players win MVP awards. to be the MVP ur team needs to acheive also. his team the wizards have not!!!
sure theyre doin well, and sure he is scoring the points, making the plays and being a true characted in the NBA. but at the moment, this year, he is not an MVP player.
in my mind the MVP goes to players leading their teams. teams who are achieving. in saying so the MVP will go to players like Dirk, Nash, and possibly Kobe because of his maturity and leadership on the team (dark horse to win it and most likely wont).
u can argue that Arenas is the best player out of all those mentioned, but his team isnt doing well enough despite the talent it has in its team, and the lack of talent present in the East.
sorry guys and gals, its not Arenas' time for an MVP award.

I agree. Last year, the wizards where playing against the bucks. Gilbert got the ball in a crucial moment and ballhogged for a moment then just fumbled it.
