Why isnt anyone alarmed by global warming???!!!?

I mean, everyone knows the facts but nobody is doing anything and everybody seems to ignore it. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT GLOBAL WARMING!!!!!!!!!!!!

is all because of those ignorants who still dont get it. They are PROVEN, REAL FACTS (i know it cause my dad is a scientist in all this), and sure they have been a lot increases in temp in past years but not as big as this one!!!!!

global warming is a bunch of bull.. The temp of the earth might be going up a little bit, but this is due to natural conditions and not the working of humans or technology. I swear, global warming is just a tool for the goverment to have more and more control over people in the united states.
think of this when you think about global warming. why is it that only the united states is to blame for the problems of the whole earth??? and look at all of the people who talk about global warming and then look at the way they live. They waste more energy then the average person. They have bigger homes, use more energy, fly more, have bigger cars, eat out more, etc.. They are a bunch of hypocrits!!!! I swear this issue just drives me crazy the way it is blown out of proportion. And finally, for every scientist that states global warming is happening, there is someone who states it isn't. So spread the word THE PEOPLE IN THE UNITED STATES ARE NOT CAUSING GLOBAL WARMING!!!!!

Nobody knows "facts" about global warming. They know theories and consensus, but they don't KNOW anything. Otherwise all scientists would be in agreement and there would be definitive proof. None of that exists. So, just what "word" do you want people to spread?

Edit: Sorry, darlin', but just because your father is a "scientist in all this" doesn't amount to a hill of beans. In any theoretical science, there are "scientists" on both sides of an argument. Again it goes back to theories and consensus...not PROOF. I'm not saying global warming doesn't exist...most scientists do agree on that. The question that hasn't been proven is what is causing it and what...if anything...can be...or should be...done about it.

Because there is no hard evidence that supports that case.... all evidence is suspect until somethime in the later half of the 1900's) accurate records were not kept for various reasons... not to say that the ice caps aren't melting, yea theyve been doing that steady for thousands of years, and what kilajamaro is melting at a more rapid pace than before so we should all quit driving our cars... there are things called "local climate changes" that happen for no reason at all... the bottom line is that the wether has not been accurately recorded long enough to make that assumption. I would suggest read a book and quit watching the news. May I suggest "State of Fear" by Michael Crichton

GLOBAL WARMING IS HAPPENING.

What pisses me off is that people are robbing the earth (of oil, gas, minerals) without fully understanding the detriment to the planet. No -one knows exactly what harm we are doing if any but we should look after the planet if we wish to remain here. Once all the oil, gas, minerals have gone what do we do then?
