I don't read PIGs

Here's a review for another one of those so-called 'books'.

"The Politically Incorrect Guide to Darwinism and Intelligent Design, is not only politically incorrect but incorrect in most other ways as well: scientifically, logically, historically, legally, academically, and morally."

Open minded? I'm sure lots are.

Willing to take the time and spend the money to read something that probably doesn't have a lot of scientific support? That's a different issue.

The bottom line is that most people who have an open mind are willing to accept that the collective scientific opinion of hundreds of scientists worldwide, formed over several decades, is probably not entirely wrong. Even if a dozen other scientists and politicians may disagree with all of the final conclusions.

So, if there is a problem, regardless of whether it is world-shattering or not, and if it going to keep getting worse, whether it takes years or decades, what harm is there in addressing the problem now?

one: lib and open minded is an oxymoron especially in regard to any direct challenge
two: CK, the query was about Global Warming, not the Evo/ID debate
Three: this planet has been though Ice ages multiple times before the human race reached 6 billion, cleared forests, and burned fossil fuels, to say that we are powerful enough to cause one is arrogant.
Four: the weather man can't tell me for sure what next Sunday will be like, but were supposed to believe they can call it 50-100 years out. in the 70's it was Global Cooling, then in the 80's we were shredding the ozone layer, now its Global Warming, and somehow warming will lead to an Ice Age?

seem. in case you in basic terms study books like those ... books by way of Creationists ... then do no longer for a 2nd have faith you have become an "Open Minded" dialogue. I even have study Stroebel and Johnson (I even have Johnson's e book sitting perfect next to me), and "Shattering the Myths of Darwinism" by way of Richard Milton (besides the actuality that I even have not study "The Politically incorrect handbook"), and others. on the evolution edge, I even have additionally study Gould, Dawkins, Dobzhansky, Miller, Zimmer, Elderidge, and a few guy named Darwin. in case you rather need to appreciate evolution, do no longer in basic terms place self belief in people who's stated purpose is to break it. they have a vested pastime in explaining it BADLY. might you have faith in basic terms athiest authors to describe faith to you?
