Im black and I think that "hip-hop" has devolved in to crap music about a girl grinding her butt on the guy's crotch. There is no soul to it anymore. NAS said it best "Hip- Hop is Dead!"

I am Hispanic with some Jew and Irish, so I'm a blended man.
Hip hop is an art form, a performance art, including music, elements of theatre, spoken word poetry, fashion. Hip hop is drama, it's the fusion of literature, art, music, theatre.
There is a subculture to hip hop, in each ethnic culture. There are some derivative forms from hip hop, including reggaeton, dub poetry, dancehall reggae, and even Indian, Pakistani, and other Asian hip hop schools.
So what is your opinion?

hip-hop is an American sub culture that centers around rapping, DJing ( or Turntablism), breakdancing, beat-boxing and graffiti
and know includes things like style of dress and slang.
It's really a wide umbrella of things even though people seem to want to keep a narrow view (usually focusing on the negative side of things ) on the music and culture that fall under it.

i think of that's an enticing element. I disagree a number of your factors however. i've got heard Paris Hilton referred to as each type of names and that i do no longer think of that pornstars no longer appeared at as whores or sluts. i think of that the criticism of hip hop movies and that lack thereof for playboy spreads speaks to a remember of flavor. some human beings have confidence that the ladies persons in Playboy are presented tastefully and the ladies persons in hip hop movies are no longer and vice versa. and you would be able to't relatively tell a individual who their alternatives are incorrect although that's something that we ought to continuously study because it would be very telling approximately ourselves as persons and as a society.
