I thought Libs were telling us how bad and "biased" Foxnews is.

Murdock even held a fundraiser for Hillary.

I'm not a lib. I'm a centerist. That being said your question is intellectually dishonest. Murdock owns majority interest in NewsCorp. I own some of it myself. NewsCorp has a number of holdings, Fox News and MySpace just to name a couple. Murdock will tell you that he makes money off of the ignornace of those to whom he sells media. He will tell you that he deliberately tried to shape the debate on the war because he clearly understands it is in his financial interest to do so.

Murdock is courting Hillary because he is a good business man. He knows the R's will lose the whitehouse in the next election cycle just as they lost congress. He wants a senator at worst, and a president at best beholden to him (and the rest of us shareholders).

I encourage you (implore you). Watch Fox News. Surf MySpace. Read the New York Post. Check your brain at the door. My retirement at any time I choose to take it depends on you. I don't give a rats @ss what your ideology is. Uncle Ru and I agree, we are only interested in your money.

Rupert Murdock is the owner of many newspapers, radio and television stations, and other types of media outlets. If you were running for a major political office, would you rather have Murdock or your local dog catcher as a good friend?

The dreaded secret - - - Hillary is a closet Republican, go read her book 'It Takes a Village' where she blasts any form of sex outside of procreation - - - people who want power take power where they can in Hillary's case she ended up with a Democratic spouse and espoused his causes but her family roots are Republican and in the end all of those grasping for money & power are pals no matter what party labels they wear.

Peace....

Let's assume, for sake of your argument, that Fox News is biased. And let's assume that Murdock is one of the reasons.

It's still possible to be friends with someone, even if you don't like all of the things they do. One has nothing to do with the other.

Well obviously from your account of Murdoch fundraing for Hillary that I will now ignore all of the biased reporting I've seen, all of the story selection, and all of the commentary and agree that Fox news is fair and balanced.

NOT

Because friendship is not all about politics, but mainly about character and common values, and honestly Rupert Murdoch is not a bad guy.
