I told my boss that my mom just came home from China last week and last night I had to rush her to the hospital. They think she may have been exposed to Sars. They have her in isolation but it doesn't look good right now.Don't worry I'll be a little late getting to work this morning. My boss thought it might be a better idea if I didn't come in until they know for sure that I didn't catch it from my mom.He even agreed to pay me for my loss of time. This was three years ago.I was off for a month with pay.

I've locked my self in my house. And the really stupid thing is that...it was true. I had two entrances to my apartment, but in order to lock/unlock you needed a key. Well, I had mis-placed my keys, and both my roommates had left for work before me. Our landlord was out of town, so...I stayed home.

My co-workers and bosses knew that my mom had a long bout with depression. So I told them one day that she tried to kill herself and I needed to go see her where she lived. It got me out of two days of work so I could go to a Garbage concert. That was about 9 years ago, and I wouldn't do that now.

my grandmother is on her deathbed not expected to last 3 more days....in actuality my grandmother had been dead for over 8 years and I hated her anyway...my ex told her I had beat her and without ever asking my side condemed me for the rest of my life...wrongfully at that, of being a wife beater...she tried to chase off every woman I had a relationship with post divorce..oh ex told all that wondered that the reason I was raising our three young kids was that I STOLE THEM FROM HER DAYCARE one day and moved...never gave my new address....they were 10 months, 2yrs and 37 months when we split...I raised them to their teenaged years..
