right now i know how to throw a fastball, a changeup, and a slider that kinda moves like a slurve.
would the screwball even be a good addition to these pitches or should i learn a new pitch?

if you can throw a curve, then what you need to do to throw a screwball is to snap your wrist the OPPOSITE direction. However, you might not want to do that since you'll put an even greater strain on the ligaments in your elbow and shoulder. If anything, practice a changeup. If you throw hard and got a devastating change, you'll get more K's.

You throw a screwball like a curve, except you turn your hand counter-clockwise.

I recommend throwing a running fastball or a circle change. It does the same thing (basically) but is easier on the elbow because the twist comes more from the grip instead of the rotation of the arm.

a screwball has the opposite spin as a slider. A difficult pitch to throw, but the best way is to put your index and middls fingers with the seams, put pressure on the ball with your index finger and throw it like a fastball, with practice you can begin to feel the ball roll counter clockwise out of your hand (this is opposite for leftys) and get some pretty decent movement

Sort of the opposite of a curve ball. If right handed the wrist snaps counter clock wise with the thumb underneath and the first two fingers make a V on top when starting the windup. . Then throw and snap roll at the same time.At least that was the way I did it.

On the other hand if its my brother-in-law I pick him up by the belt and roll him over my hip.

Grip it the same way as the curveball but flick your wrist in the oppisite direction. It's supposed to curve to the right if your righty and left if your a lefty.
