Hello, I am a college freshman and this survey is for my U.S. government class. I have to ask 50 people, preferably an equal amount of men and women.

1. If a draft were to occur (all military positions, not just the front lines), do you believe women should be included?

If yes....

2. Should the women be allowed to fight on the front lines?

Please include your:
Sex
Religion
Age
Race
and Occupation

These factors will be used to present the information I have gathered from the survey in a graph.

Thanks to all who help out!

I'd like to know if all the people who answered "no" would like to take back the right to vote as well. Equal rights shouldn't have qualifiers, it should mean equal.

I do not think I want a draft to happen, I think the draft would be wrong, but yes if it happens I think that any abled body person that can should be drafted and we should start in this order-President, Presidents family members, Psychiatrist, Psychiatrist family members, Legislators, Legislators family members, Exceedingly wealthy, Exceedingly wealthy's family members, Wealthy, Wealthy's family members, Mental Health Workers, Mental Health Workers family members, and then the common people and then the really poor. That way we could spread the wealth out that was left from them more equally and we could change our country. So even if this is kind of a mean joke, this is my answer. Why can't we strive for peace, love, hope, equality, instead?

Firstly, let me state that there MUST be a non military option, otherwise you are persecuting innocent people for their religious or political (pacifist) beliefs, which is WRONG!!! Everyone between the ages of their 16th & 18th birthdays should be required to perform National Service, unless studying, employed, or medically unfit (strictly policed). YES, they should, but only in all female groups, otherwise the male primate has an instinct to protect the females, which can distract him from his duty, or survival. 1. Male. 2. Atheist. 3. 54. 4. Caucasian (of European descent). 5. Generalist (polymath).

Women are not assigned combat duties so your point may be pointless.

Yes I do think they should. As a matter of fact because of Affirmative Action I think that women and protected classes should have the first chance at it; after all, if they apply for any other job they are chosen before the White male. We need to be fair and I challenge anybody to make a logical case against it.

No. That's b/c TRULY, they can't b/c something about women are needed to have babies. also, i personally don't think so b/c MOST women aren't...into? the thought of war. It really is mainly a man's...pursuit. Nobody should be forced to risk their life if they don't want to though. That is taking away a person's basic rights.

Yes. Yes. Women want to be treated as equals in all respects, then put them in the heat of battle. They only need to get pregnant to get out of it.*
