Possibly, real ones may have an effect on the brain. It could cause chemical reactions in the body that may make one "feel in love". However potions will wear off. True love will always be worth more.

NO, because there is no love potion in the real world, and that would be a lot of money just to buy it.

Are you planning to give the potion to someone else or consume it yourself? You can't give it to another person because that is manipulating their free will and you will reap the repercussions. However you can consume it yourself only if you are non-specific (you don't have a certain person in mind).

Yes. You may have to watch out for a couple of things, 1. you may become obsessed with the person, 2. the person may become obsessed with you and 3. the rule of three apllies, it might come back to you three times as bad.
