My breasts have been sore and enlarged for a week now. It is painful to take a shower, to have my shirt touch, etc. Sometimes there is no pain and my nipples shrink down again, but then it comes back. Usually at night is when it is the worst Is this normal for early pregnancy? I am still waiting to even take a test.
Thanks!

before i found out i was pregnant my breasts did the same exact thing and were also very sensitive. when i found out i was pregnant i was already 2 months. you should take a test asap but use your first morning urine, it is the highest in hormones so its most accurate. if it comes up negative but the tenderness doesnt stop wait a week or so a try again.

Happened to me! When the shower water would hit them... I would wince.. hurt SO bad. I would go to cross my arms over my chest like I usually would, and have to put them back down. Started for me around 2-3 weeks.

I never had breast pain for before.

you could be pregnant.or it could be from birth control.when i was taking birth control my breast's would get sore for a week and go away for sometime, and come back....if your not on birth contro,or mist a pill and had unprotected sex then you should see a Dr.or go to the ER.for a blood test.It will tell you right away.....good luck, and take care...

Depends on your age but it sounds like hormone changes going on. Could be a few things but usually nothing serious. Talk to your doctor.
Take care.

To bluntly answer your question - Yes, normal.
The amount of tenderness depends on the person.
