so........ September 16th is also Independence day for the USA
July 4th and September 16th.

Nope. Each state joined the union at different times after the first 13 colonies declared their independence. So are you say we celebrate each states acceptance into the union as our national independence day? there would be like 20 more days...

Untied States of America was an "off-shoot" of brtin or england so they were a colony and colonies were still under their contires rule. When America wated to detach them selves englad didn't want them to so they had a big whatever and eventually fought them out and became their own countrie.

The spanish we bought/fought for the land as an act of war not as an act of independence even tho we were fighting independently.

They didn't gain independence from Spain, just territory.
