ppl here where i live have a fashion sense where everything is the same why are people afraid of change? Nobodys open to new fashion ideas. I you where cutting edge everyone looks at u funny. Why is that?

People (you are missing a few vowels there) in the south have weather, not a miserable climate, so they don't have to wear a ton of clothes, or spice up their miserable cold winter existence with trivial little things like fashion. A few do, but most are laid back and happy with life, thier looks and thier body - they don't have to follow Prada like little sheep.

excuse me, but i live in a south texan town, and i take my fashion very seriously. i am always open to new ideas. much of the time, i end up not liking them.
if your cutting edge, its usually the younger generation, and people look at us funny anyway. we have a kohls right down the street from the high school in my district, within walking distance. and the elementary school is about ten minutes drive from the major mall. our school are downtown, so that may be why.

because they are happy the way they are. that is why they dont move away even if the town sucks.
Californians on the other hand have all mostly moved here recently which was a change for them and in turn they like changes
(it goes the same way poiliticly)

cuz we have trends( ilive in houston, Tx!)
like all the white girls( and some hispanic and black people) wear abercrombie and fitch, american eagle, aeropostale, forever 21, agaci, all the mall clothes, but we don't really mix things up like use blazers or stuff like that, but some people used the crop jackets, mini jean skirts with leggings, skinny jeans, and a bunch of other stuff. were not at all hillbillies, and i hate people who are like that and think idiotically like that!
absolutely no cowboys here, just a lot of gangs.

Maybe people in the south are good woth the way they dress..im not saying that's only people in the south who are like that but maybe that's the reason

Because they're more old-fashioned and don't like the concept of change. Maybe it also has something to do with religion.
