1. Always curl lashes before applying mascara.

2. Don't forget your bottom lashes. For years I avoided mascara on them until a makeup expert showed me how much mascara on my lower lashes really make my eyes pop. I rarely go without now.

3. Individual false lashes are exotic, gorgeous and can look natural if applied correctly.

Large cities offer 'lash bars' in the hottest department stores. (Henri Bendel, Bergdorfs and more, for example) but I expect the counters at most department stores will have experts in false lashes. Ask at yours.

4. For a doe-eyed, seductive look, makeup artist *Paul Starr suggests you try lining your lower lids with a creamy white eye pencil.

5. White liner may sound odd, but it really opens up the eye. You can also try putting it on the inside corner of both your upper and your lower lids.

6. Make sure your brows are manicured. Until you get your brows professionally waxed, tweezed or threaded, you won't realize how much they affect the rest of your face. Cleaning up your brow line of stray hairs, adding a slight arch and filling in sparse spots are key to making eyes look much larger.

The key to making your eyes pop is choosing color the compliments them. If you're blue eyed, warm colors like browns, golds, and deep grays will do the trick. Use black mascara and ALWAYS cure your lashes. Also, choosing the appropriate lip color plays and huge part, as lip color brings out the eyes, even more than shadow. Also, for the best look, use 3 tones of shadow, a highlight, a mid-tone, and an accent. For more on color and application tips, you can visit my website and try the virtual make over. I hope this helps you.

Well I have brown eyes and this tip really works for me.......i hope it will work for you, try using the same color eyeshadow as your eyes.....i know it sounds strange but it really works!! and if you wear eyeliner, you can add a little on your top eyelid but apply it thin from the inner corner of your eye and a little thicker when you get to the outer corner, also try to use black or a darker shade of blue so that its not exactly the same shade as your eyeshadow. Another trick i do is i apply a lighter shade of shadow on my eyelid only to the crease, then i use a small brush to apply the darker shade in the crease to the outer corner of my eye...then i apply my liner as i described above it looks great!!! well i hope this helped you out....good luck!!!

Since you say you have pretty blue eyes, you should wear a really bright blue liner. I know it sounds strange, and some fashion magazines even go against it, but I've seen it done many times before on a friend I have and every single time, her eyes look really bright and stand out.

1) put a base of neutral shadow all over the eye
2) apply a brown shadow in the crease
3) then add some color lower on your eyelid (blue, green, whatever)
4) to make them pop add some white shadow on your browbone
5) curl your lashes at the base and then end
6) apply some brown mascara at the top lash (no curling or thickening, they are too heavy and make you look tired)

Oh and make sure that you have your brows shaped.
Good luck!

Make sure you mascara makes your lashes thicker and longer, but dosent clump, also try useing a black eyeliner. Grey eyeshadow also does wonders for blue eyes!
