For example since the beginning of mankind on this earth there has been the thought of an after life, like the Pyramids in Egypt, burial tombs, Mayan culture of human sacrifices to Gods and what not. I don't see chimpanzees making tombs for their dead.

How do you come to this conclusion? Do you speak to other species?

Because we are the only species that kills for the fun of it and has no respect for it's fellow creatures...even scorpions and rattlesnakes respect each other...we long for a spiritual connection to rationalize why we are so awful to each other

because we are the only specied with a spritual connection, well besides dogs who can see ghosts or like presence them, actually now that i think about it horses and other animals can too, but as for humans, there is an after life, and somehow that after life has influenced our present life tremendously, so yeah :)
