I see your part of the NOW generation. You want instant results. Acupuncture doesn't work instantly. It took you years to create a health problem and you want it to go away yesterday. It doesn't work that way. It took a long time for the problem to manifest. It will take a long time to heal, unless of course you keep doing the same thing that caused the problem. For that you will have to wait until you stop causing the problem.

I had a lot of success with feeling better with acupuncture but it was not long lasting. I had an extremely stiff neck. I had many x-rays and physical therapy. There was really nothing wrong with my neck other than very tense muscles.

I finally went and had acupuncture. It didn't turn out to be a cure. While I was going - for four months, there was great improvement. Hardly any pain at all. It gradually came back when I stopped. The acupuncture was very expensive. It would have been worth it if it would have been a cure. I feel that a massage would have probably done the same thing, but I did not think about that at the time.

I've used acupuncture several times and it's always worked. It works better on some things such as tendinitis, than others. Give it a chance. It's been around a lot longer than the meds on the market.

Acupuncture doe work, but you have to give it time. What are you getting it for? I know someone who gets acupuncture for back pain and it has helped, but it is a slow process and you have to stick with it.

Just like any medical treatment, you cannot expect results "overnight".

Both my wife & I get regular sessions and it has helped both of us.

you can't expect much from only 1 session. Give it some time.
