how do i tell my friends im moving?

its really hard because i know some will cry. im very popular at my current school, so i know it will effect a lot of people. help.

I moved around a lot and trust me, I know it's hard to do. Obviously, you have to tell them so I would make it as painless as possible, maybe go out and while you're around people and laughter and positive things, mention it, and try not to be negative about it by throwing in when you might be able to visit, and stuff like that. You didn't say how far you're moving but nowadays there's email and video and all kinds of things. I'm sorry for your distress. Good luck to you and your friends.

Just tell them that you're moving. Tell them why as well or they'll feel left out. Try to keep in contact with them too when you move so they won't be so upset.

You can't stop them from crying, so tell them the truth. If you tell them a few days before you move, they'll feel rather insultsed or upset because you only bothered to tell them at the last minute. That can really hurt some sensetive people because they might start thinking that you don't really care about them and it's not important to tell them any important news until it's actually happening

There is no nice way to say you are moving. You just have to tell your friends and be honest. Try to make it somewhat of a celebration - maybe have a going away party or something like that, that way you'll always have the memories.

if you're popular then no need to worry. a knew popular girl will come along and she will be your substitue. many groups tend to do that. one moves away and they get a new one. just try breaking it down easily for them. you dont want a bunch of kids crying over you now do ya'? lol
