i heard today that the new Mr Bean film is Rowan's last story in which he plays the character EVER...
im totally gutted to hear this.. mr bean was so ace.. i grew up with him..
what does everyone else think ??

While characters can be immortal, this is not the case for the actors who play the part.
Mr Bean was a great show, well written, and Rowan Atkinson was so brilliant playing the part.
Like most good things, they have to come to an end.
Lets keep on watching and enjoying the repeats, and hope that no one re-launches the character with another actor, it would never work.
Lets wish "Mr Bean" a happy retirement, and remember him with affection.

I hate to say it by I have never really liked Mr Bean. I do think its a shame that Rowan has decided this will be the last one as there are so many Mr Bean fans but I guess he wants to close the chapter.

Mr Bean is funny, but it's not the kind of character you want to be typecast into. I watched the episode where he goes to the cinema with the sound off and it was still hilarious. They should repeat them the cartoon is good as well but not as good.

seriously! Mr Bean is so funny, apart from the cartoon version of him!, OMG I have got 2 watch that last film! thanx for telling me, totally bad thing he is never coming back!

I suppose it's good that he's bringing out a film,i thought that mr bean had gone for good anyway.But i used to enjoy watching it always when i was younger.
