Back in the day (last year)I had an ebay account that was beginning to show really respectable ratings, and I dealt with all my payments through a paypal account. I bought and sold with nothing but positive ratings and feelings toward the e-market. UNTIL!

A "friend" used my account to sell a bunch of cellular phones.

The fiasco begins with this person supposidly shipping all the merchandise to the incorrect addresses, and ended with me being kicked off of ebay and my account being put on hold at paypal.

After dealing with everybody from the district attorney to mean mother goose looking for her sidekick, I eventually refunded all the moneys people lost to "me".

Now that all the wrongs are righted, ebay is done with me and paypal won't let me log onto my account.

I tried to start a new ebay account, but they cancelled all my bids and sent me a "this user is suspended" type e-mail.

If I use another credit card/ e-mail account can I start a new one? What about paypal?

Why don't you use open another free email account (Yahoo or hotmail) and open another new Paypal account? That makes the most sense to me. Same with your Ebay account!

Hi, I had a similar problem where someone broke inot my account, you can try to resolve the problem with ebay and pay pal, but I found this to be a waste of time and energy. To open a new account you will need to do the following -
1. New email account
2. New User Id
3. New postal address ( you can use a friends, or a relatives)
4. New name ( again, use your childrens name, partner ect.)
5. New details ( phone number, date of birth)
6. Use a static IP address.
I know this seems extreme, but its really the only way you will be able to get back on.
Good Luck! And please let us know how it goes!

Fraud was committed under your name with your account.
Ebay and PayPal do no want you back.

Crooks have no problem getting around this type of problem.

I suspect if you took your friend to court and got a judgment against your friend it might go a long way toward demonstrating you were not involved.

As you paid the defrauded people off with your own money to avoid criminal prosecution, I would be more likely to believe you were a party to the fraud.

Ebay, and especially Paypal have extremely poor service. You might try, but I doubt you will ever get it resolved without a court order.
