A friend of mine insists that he heard that Bush pardoned the redneck rapist guys from the movie Deliverence. I insist that it had to be a joke....what's the truth?

I believe that he did pardon them. Next he'll pardon Scooter Libby, and the other corrupt criminals.

As funny as it sounds....it's kinda true. I punched in the words: Bush, pardons and Deliverence. And the truth is last year Bush pardoned an actor in the movie for moonshining. No one of the rapists. That would have been hilarious. What's next a pardon for Doctor Octopus!

ok! in the beginning sow down ok Spitzer, has no longer been even charged with something and this isn't any longer the form of element (Bush) might pardon somebody over ok and secondly somebody desires to pardon (Bush) as quickly as he leaves workplace for being so rattling stupid all those years. that's state and federal crime many times happening using fact the (Mann Act-Enacted in 1910) and he violated that to boot as to attend and spot if he used tax payer money to fund a number of those tryst he went on using fact in the past this gets extra useful now this is a giggle it is going to get worst for him there is little doubt approximately that and the only way (Bush) might pardon is that if this affected him in some way or yet another (Scooter Libby) and it would not, this is to no longer say (Bush) could no longer pardon him yet via the time this all comprises a head that fool must be out of workplace and a clean president in the Oval workplace thank God!!

One of them told Bush..."You sure got a purty mouth."

That was enough for Bush to pardon him...plus he's getting a free banjo lesson out of the deal.

Wiki lists 76 pardons as of 2004 and three commuted sentences. I didn't see the people you asked about but then again, I don't know their names.

I think that was Carter and the rednecks were his cousins.
BTW that was his brother Billy in the dueling banjo scene.

Just Fiction and so just a fictious pardon.

That's a good one. I don't know what to believe, if it was really said or if someone was dumb enough to believe it. So, what's the truth?
