All right, I'm not eaxctly what you would call a skinny girl by any means but I don't think I should have to change. People tell me that the reason I haven't ever had a boyfriend is because I'm too big but I can't stomach that all guys are as shallow as that. Tell me is it true?

People respond more to how you feel about yourself than what you look like. So if you are a happy woman regardless of your size, with confidence, & interests then you will find others (men & women) who want to be around you & share your interests.
People can be shallow but usually those are people with deep insecurities of their own. Our culture does not often encourage people to look below the surface so don't determine your value on whether other people are mature enough to see all your inner qualities.
It's like being a diamond. Not everyone is a diamond but the culture at large says that diamonds are the best. Society doesn't want you to look to closely at where the diamonds come from or who died to make those diamonds into jewelry. Now you may be a saphire. Beautiful in your own right & just as precious as a diamond but some may not be able to see it because they are so busy chasing after the diamonds. That is not a reflection on you but a limitation of them.

Their are men who like every type of women because all women are beautiful.
If you are built a little differently then some of the women that society considers "hot" then you will have to show off what you do have.
And it may help not be shallow yourself, because their are a lot of overweight men who would likely love to have you as their girlfriend. If you see a big built man without a ring on his finger strike up a conversation a little. Let him know you are interested.

i'm not shallow, so no not all men are. i look for personality. i have met very many girls that were beautiful on the outside but had no real personality or they even had a horrible personality. in time you will find someone that is right for you. the thing is though you have to go out and try. bars aren't always the best place to go for that. good day to you.

No, but all guys have their prefences on what type of body type they are attractied to. You like a certain look, body type, hair color, eye color ect...guys are the same way.
You just have to find a guy who is intertested in the physical as well as the mental/emotional parts of you.
The whole thing about men only "liking skinny girls with big boobs" is so stupid. All men like differnt types of woman. If you are having trouble looking for a guy who likes a girl with some meet on her, stop showing yourself to the "I like thin girls" crowd...

Some guys don't understand that what's pleasing to the eye and pleasing to the touch aren't always the same. A good guy will like you for YOU, not because you have a flat tummy. If you're comfortable and confident in your own skin, you shouldn't have to change yourself for any man.

people today think women should have a 38DD bra size but weigh 90lbs......so not the right image to put out for women

i think u've got ur answers. all i can say is ...don't worry there is always (and i mean ALWAYS) some one who finds something in someone who they fall in love with and stay like that forever and wud do anything to stay with someone forever

Just because a guy doesn't like a fat chick doesn't mean he's shallow. Being fat just shows that your unhealthy and lazy, and those are not attractive qualities to a lot of guys. My advise, get in shape.
It's so typical to put the blame on others when the problem lies with you. Get healthy and you'll be surprised by the attention you'll recieve. No Fat Chicks

Pick a fat, slovenly guy that doesn't think he should change for other people, and that other people are shallow if they don't look down on him for whatever he chooses to be, or do, and you'll have a perfect match who will go out with you.
