People went nuts when he pitched well against BC and the Marlins. Then he gets shelled by a real team, and it's only Spring Training. Double Standard? I think so.
Wait till he goes 12 - 13, then u can really rub it in their faces.

Right. Let's give up now and forget the season? You must either be a Yankee fan or a Globe sports writer. Give the man a chance. He may not even be that great in 2007, but the Red Sox see him as a valuable asset over the next several years. As of March 11th, Pedroia, Lowell, Ramirez and Ortiz all have struggles. So what. Let the Yankees win the Grapefruit League. Who cares? It's just practice.

I think he struggled, but it only spring trainning. Everything beyond April 1 is the real deal.

ok this is what you need to understand.
1. its spring training, no body cares
2. he told the media that he is going to let the O's piss on him so he could check on the data red sox has.
3. he needs to let them hit once in a while, it kinda gets boring.
