Always kill it with bleach. Keep it killed with vinegar wash.

Oh, how I wish I knew...
My Maytag front-loader is horrible with mold. I have tried everything, nothing works. I "googled" several sites a year ago, and no one had any helpful suggestions there, either.

Use old toothbrush, get some rubber gloves a cup of ammonia and warm water.
