ok well a friend of mine gave me a bunch of cd's that she thinks i would like and i want to put them on itunes so i can get them on my ipod. But they are a bunch of mixed cd's that she made herself, and i dont know the names of the songs. Is their a way to get the information about the song, like what its called and whos it by even with a homemade mixed cd??

I have never found a way to do this - you can try hitting the "import song names" button but that may not work. I think you just have to manually type them in...unfortunately. Or make a playlist and organize them disc by disc so you may not have to type in every name of every song - but at least it's organized in a playlist for you.

Yes. Once you import the CD songs to iTunes, right click it and one of your choices will be GET INFO. Click it and go to the tab, INFO and then fill in the information you want.

i have to agree with her... just try import song info... if it doesn't work....sorry
also: sometimes you can, sometimes you can't, depending on what program she burned the cd. if she burned it on itunes, it would automatically show...
