I was running a disk cleanup. I was in a hurry to close and just started pushing the buttons at the bottom of the screen. When I started to look at my massive amount of pictures, they were gone! Vacation pictures, Baptism pictures... all gone! I know now to back up, but can anyone help me recover what I've lost? PLEASE!

go to the recycle bin.. and if the are there restore the ones you want.. good luck

You can try a Restore if they are not in the Recycle Bin. Go to Start, All Programs, Accessories, System and there click on System Restore.

ouch - you should back up photos to cd's or dvd's from time to time - there are many programs for file recovery - here's a download.com site with a list:

try buying some software for document recovery, most files can be recovered if it is done quickly enough

TRY TO GO TO RECYCLE BIN, AND UNDELETE THE PICS.
