Ok, sleep paralysis serves a REALLY important function. Our dreams appear as real as waking thoughts at the time and sleep paralysis stops us from acting them out. There is no way that I know of, nor have I heard of anyone being able to suspend sleep paralysis. Maybe sleep walking, but I think that happens at a different stage in sleep, rather than in the REM cycle.

Astral projection is more of a mental process. It's not affected in anyway by sleep paralysis.

There is no such thing.

When you try to learn a new task, you slowly get better at it. You can see you are making progress. But, with 'astral projection' you are either doing it, or you aren't. Have you ever done it? Has anyone? If it was a real thing you could learn you would have some feeling of increasing comprehension and ability.
