Happiness is a state of mind. As a result, the only way you can be unhappy is for you to grant permission for it to be so.

Happiness is the state of mind when a person chooses to accept that they cannot change everything ing the world and they become satisfied with the road they are on or are satisfied that they can get to the road they want to be on.

All my childhood life, i wished for happiness.
It wasn't till later in my adult life that i realised, i found my own happiness, in me.

So for me i would say happiness is very individual, its a state of mind that can be achieved, many by a little self work.
Finding who you are and what you are and being content with it.

You could still own the world and not be content with you, for it is you which is what brings you true happiness.

Nothing is simple. Take a look around you. It took mankind thousands of years to make it so that you can make the 'simple' assumption that there is such a thing that is simple. The word simple in it of it self is not simple it is a complex theory or beliefs that can be argued round and round and not get nowhere.
