Are Elephants becomming extinct? They are endangered, but they also come in conflict with human settlements and clash with us, sometimes violently. Crops that we plant are easy food for elephants and often humans are killed when a conflict arises over whose food it is. Elephants are majestic, smart, social animals who just happen to be extremely powerful. There is little we can do to stop them without using massive firepower. I hope we can stop first the pillaging of these animals for their ivory, then find a place for them to live without conflict with humans.
