The on set of 'mentalpause' is very heavy periods, irregular, if you are lifting more and longer periods, then you should begin to skip a few months, then maybe be regular as clock work for a while and then bam, never another one. Flashes go thru phases, dizzy spells, sweat pouring off your face and red face, chills and then burning up. Or you may never have a flash, my sis in law has never had any I still have them after 15 years of no periods. I did all of the above for over 6 years before it was over. Research, sparce as it is says you should have your periods for 35 years and cease.

I realized I was in menopause when a Dr. asked me when I had my last period and I honestly didn't remember. I also had some depression issues. Some people get serious hot flashes, but I didn't. I started taking an herbal menopause supplement and had no more problems.

Menopause is an occurrence. It's not a stage in your life. When you haven't had a period for 1 consecutive year, you have had menopause. That's it...it's over. Not hormone imbalances, hot flashes, etc. It's the end of the menstrual cycle. The other symptoms come afterwards.

Here are some of the signs:
1. Night Sweats
2. Missed Periods
3. Tired/Listless/Moody

You get periodic Periods, sometimes months apart.
they never come at the same time, and could last from
a couple days to a couple weeks.

This can go on for years before it finally ends.
talk to your Doctor about it and see what he/she suggests.
