Never turn your back on a threatened danger and try to run away from it. If you do that, you will double the danger. But if you meet it promptly and without flinching, you will reduce the danger by half. Never run away from anything. Never!
Sir Winston Churchill

War is an evil thing; but to submit to the dictation of other states is worse... To you who call yourselves men of peace, I say: You are not safe unless you have men of action on your side.
Thucydides

In every battle there comes a time when both sides consider themselves beaten, then he who continues the attack wins.
Ulysses S. Grant

War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things. The decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks that nothing is worth war is much worse. The person who has nothing for which he is willing to fight, nothing which is more important than his own personal safety, is a miserable creature and has no chance of being free unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself.
John Stuart Mill

Danger - if you meet it promptly and without flinching - you will reduce the danger by half. Never run away from anything. Never!

We have seen in the last decade the decline of the American government and the weakness of the American soldier who is ready to wage Cold Wars and unprepared to fight long wars. This was proven in Beirut when the Marines fled after two explosions. It also proves they can run in less than 24 hours, and this was also repeated in Somalia. We are ready for all occasions. We rely on Allah.

this great defeat pleased me very much, the way it pleases all Muslims. Allah willing the next victory will be in Hejaz and Najd, Saudi Arabia, and it will make the Americans forget the horrors of Vietnam and Beirut.

I would assume it's because Limbaugh and others like him are good at putting into words the what many conservatives believe. Whether you agree with him or not the fact remains that he is very articulate.

Limbaugh is quoted as an authority, like libs quote Pelosi or Hilary.

If someone else has managed to say something, better than you yourself can say, it only makes sense to quote them.

That applies whether you're quoting historical figures, or religious or political leaders, or anyone else.

The people quoting him agree with what he has to say, and think those words express the ideas better than their own.

There is no way you have conservative friends.

Limbaugh reminds me of some great ammo to fire at you lefties.

Here's a thought: Why don't you ask them?

I don't believe in answering for other people so I am afraid you will simply have to ask them.

That assumes, of course, that you are genuinely seeking an answer and not simply attempting to marginalize those who don't share your world view.

But thanks for sharing.

Limbaugh says not to answer that question

Because he is one of the few that actually discusses the issues from a conservative viewpoint.
