*ahem*... i DONT download music for free *coughs* cazzy*coughs* and its freezes alot just like my computer,,, so im guessing my computer virus transferd to my ipod? i know i should get a mac cause they dont get viruses, i plan on getting on in the near future. but what can i do until then? all antiviruses dont detect the virus and its not becuase my computer has alot of files on it.

any more details on what's wrong with it?

if it is able to connect to your computer and iTunes recognizes it, click on the factory reset button in iTunes.
it will erase all your songs, but return it back to normal

Shouldn't be downloading music for free.
It's illegal.
And you also wouldn't have got a virus.
Your computer probably has one too.
Serves you right.
