Nah, I'm just kidding. It's actually pretty awesome. This is the time of your life when you get a sence of individuality, a style, a "you". This is the time in your life when you attempt putting on mascara and poke yourself in the eye. When you fall deeply in love with someone who you barely know. When friends mean more to you then ever before. It's really easy to meet new people. Be friendly, smile, and help out whenever needed. Don't try to change if you get labeled "nice girl" or whatever else comes into your classmates minds. You're awesome, and no one can tell you otherwise. Be confident in yourself; you can do whatever your heart desires. Don't be afraid to be different; uniqueness is something the world is missing. Be crazy and wild and don't care what other people think. Those who matter don't mind, and those who mind don't matter ^_^ !

Well I remember my first day of middle school, and i was a mess.
The only thing to remember is be yourself. I made plenty of friends, and i was never alone. make an attempt to talk to someone you think you might wanna talk to, but dont over-do it. good luck!

being shy is really just signs of insecurity. think about what you're insecure about. is it your looks? personality? just start reflecting on those things. im sure you're going to figure it out. im about to graduate middle school and believe me:: you have to be sociallll and sometimes that means you'll have to step out of your comfort zone. if your usually the girl who grabs a seat in the very back and will only talk to your one true best friend, you won't have anyyyy fun in middle school. ok now i'll tell you how to make friends and not be shy in middle school:

if its your looks you're concerned about, jsut dedicate a day to making yourself look reallllly pretty. tell your mom you wanna start straigtening or curling your hair, or start wearing make up or something like thatt i guesss. jsut wear really cute clothes. that's always a plus in middle school...believe me.

if its your personality, just start watching t.v. shows like.....idk.....zoey101 i guess. look at how she acts around her friends and strangers. watching reality t.v. shows is also really helpful because you can see what types of personalities people like and how they react.

if its just that your shy in general, train yourself not to be. turn on your favorite song at your house and just start dancing around. you'll have fun and you'll realize like who cares if your FUN to be around. and start talking to your friends a lot like A LOT. like jsut don't stop. and dont be afraid to talk loudly. people who projectt their voices are always thought to be not insecure. and host a hugeee sleepover for all of your close friends and even some of the people you like but just don't talk to that much. that shows people that you're always wanting to have fun, and be social. it also shows that you're a leader. so just be social and fun and crazy.

Also, make sure you talk to guys a lot. like hot guys. and make friends with them and dont be afraid to be fun around them too. dont be quiet and annoying. be fun and crazy and always start the conversations.

And in school, stay social but not during classes. during classes dont just huddle up with only your friends. try and make the class fun. that does notttt mean to be crazy and be the class clown. jsut try and make the LEARNINGGGG funn. teachers love it and the students love it even more. they like having people in the class who are eager to attend and are eager to make friends and meet new people.

So, overall, it's important to stay social, fun, unpredictable, kinda crazy, and have lots of friends--especialllyyyy hott guy friends. just try and break the ice with everyone because i can guarentee you that everyone else is feeling the exact same way you are. so be the positive influence on everyone and be fun, wild, crazy, spontaneous, social and just really make people wanna be around you. i knowwww you can do it!! just give it a try. and think:: people dont really like the shy quiet kid who doesn't interact with anyone besides like 1 or 2 people. so just make yourself popular and make people be friends with you. do notttt have any fights and/or enemies!!! it'll make your middle school experience like a living hell.
