Your battery should be under the right side of the back seat. Need a phillips screwdriver to get the seat screws out. However, there's a jump start terminal under the hood on the right side, near the strut tower. Will be covered by a small plastic cover with a big "+" on it. Put your pos cable there. Funny that "mick", who owns and works on Audis didn't mention that. Anyhow, for a factory manual on CD, try this link. They also have diag equip.

Most vehicles say 60,000 miles to prevent any breakage in the belt. You should check with the Audi dealership and go by what they recommend if they are using OEM parts (Original Equipment Manufacturer) Replacing it any sooner is money you are burning in your pocket. Its better to wait until a few miles before the limit so you can replace it. If the belt did happen to break, then you can make Audi pay for the damage since they had faulty products in your engine. OEM parts are guaranteed to last to the miles they quote! Of course do not procrastinate on this issue since it will damage your engine extensively!

The battery is in the engine bay, midline, under the windsheild. There might be some plastic trim pieces to be removed; it should be visible after that. Hope this helps..

It is under the right seat. For weight balance purposes and space under the hood.
