1) Naruto and Naruto II- it's the best anime and most popular in the world. i love it so much. my favorite character is Gaara, then Neji, then Kiba, then Rock Lee, and then Orochimaru
2) Inuyasha- it's really entertaining and it makes sense like some animes such as Mar and Zach Bell do not make sense and r not entertaining. my favorite character is Miroku, then Inuyasha, then Naraku, then Kikyo, then Sango
3) Princess Monoke- it's not an anime but it's a great movie, they should make an anime based on it.

i cant list in order because 1 theres too many and 2 it's been a long time since ive watched some of them, but some of the more recent ones ive seen would be:
elfen lied
gunslinger girl
death note
saikano (the manga was better, but both are amazing)
serial experiments lain
hikaru no go
haibane renmei
response to above: inuyasha was really good at the beginning... but no series should go on that long. rumiko takahashi, the woman who draws inuyasha, has a habit of making her series as long as shonen jump (the magazine in which her series' are initally published, chapter by chapter) will allow them, which is way too long. though it is very good and rather addicting in the beginning, towards the end they are all just filler episodes with no real plot advancements. it used to be one of my favorites, then i realized what drabble i was watching.

Bleach is the only show I really like but I'm a big fan of Hayao Miyazki's films. They are beautiful beyond compare. Satoshi Kon's Millenium Actress is also astonishingly gorgeous.
