So you get one cold day, or even an entire cold week and all of the science behind the studies that show us clearly that we are having an impact on the planets' climate is suddenly wrong...funny, cause when (I) was traveling through the U.S. waaaaay back in 99, (I) noticed what (I) had read about in a scientific journal, how you couldn't see the horizon line clearly, pretty much anywheres on the eastern seaboard of the United States.

It was a nasty Haze, persistent pretty much all the way out west too as (I) went as far as California, then North.

So, can you see the horizon line where you are?

clearly?

EVERY day??

NO??

Why??

Global Warming!

Be careful its really two issues. First is the earth actually getting warmer. Thats not that easy to determine on a global scale. Just where to you put the thermometer. It very well could be. There are indications that even the polar caps on Mars are receding.

Which brings me to part 2. Is the burning of fossil fuels contributing to global warming in any significant way. See polar ice caps on Mars.

Then there are the facts which we all pretty much know to be true. The earth's climate changes and has always done so. 100,000 year cycles of ice ages followed by 10,000 year or so warm periods. All of these occured well before there were significant numbers of humans to have any impact.

My conclusion is that we are nearing the end of an 11 year solar cycle where increased solar activity has produced a blip on the global temperature. The long term trend is the current 10,000 year warm period reached its peak during the medival warm period (about the time Vikings were farming in Greenland ). Since then the earth has been slowing cooling and it is more likely we will be plunged into an ice age than ever see run away global warming.

Communist, Socialist and other government worshipers are just using this as an excuse to restrict personal freedom. What better way to force individuals to submit to total government control than to tell them it is necessary to "save the planet".

Actually I don't believe in what scientists say unless it is proven and I have seen proof! There is a movie out by Al Gore and it is called An Inconvenient Truth. It is very informative. Not to mention I love the discovery channel and they have even confirmed the things and issues that are stated in this movie. Not only does the movie tell what the problems are it in detail with graphs and real life satellites shows what is going on. It is an interesting watch! You can also watch some of it on his website! So yes I do believe in global warming and I don't believe that humans are the only reason the earth is warmer.
Go check the site out or renting the movie would be best! I highly recommend it!

Right. Never mind that the rich elites are those who just happen to *ahem* own oil and energy companies, be right wing think tanks in bed with oil and energy companies, Halliburton etc..) But of course, we can trust them (insert sarcasm here) They're experts! They know what's good for us.

PS -- check out as many University Climatology page departments as you can find. I tried a whole bunch, and I found a whole lot of them describing classes they were offering in man-made global warming and what `can be done to stop it, and reverse if possible its effects, but I did NOT notably, find even one university offering a "Boy, anthropogenic global warming is just a big elite myth" class.

no sorry to say its very true, now where its going only everyone can speculate ,they can use tried and true theories and knowledge collected from the past to try and predict what is to come,we are all guilty for this and only we can fix it ,THINK GLOBAL ,ACT LOCAL. sure company's contribute but aren't we owners ,workers, citizens and politicians ,we can act more than we do.also we are so very spoiled especially in this country.we are not about to give up all the things that are causing the problems, nor is any one else...so who knows what the future holds. just remember when we point fingers there are 3 pointing back good luck

Since 99% of world's scientists disagree with you I think you are the BS artist

PS: If global warming is fake buy a really cheap house next to a factory or power plant - hey, as you know, those things don't pollute and don't affect anyone's health - you wont??? HYPOCRITE

Wait a few years and feel smart then. Then you might also sail to Texas to thank Dumbya the Pig for having slowed down the efforts to stop it.
