going

As a substitute for going, choose the most appropriate form of locomotion, i.e., running, sprinting, galloping, streaking, scampering, turning, moving, fleeing, collapsing, perishing

wants (some of these work as both verbs AND nouns) needs, wishes, desires, hopes hungers thirsts, needs, craves, lusts, seeks, misses, covets

to: toward, at, upward, inward, outward, onward (to)

they: this depends entirely on what "they" you are referring to.

You can only make these choices based on what you intend to say. You have to rely on your intention to get your result.
